Test & Qualification Engineer

The Role:

To support our expanding R&D team, we are looking to recruit a Test & Qualification Engineer.

Main Duties:

• Develop and carry out testing of tools to satisfy client and industry standard qualification requirements.
• Definition of qualification plans, running and maintenance of tests, analysis of data and production of reports and other related documentation.
• Development of qualification procedures for components and subsystems used in downhole tools, assembly of test hardware and documentation of test procedures.
• Work closely with qualification staff and the Electronics R&D group to improve the reliability and performance of products.
• Additional electronics design and technician work for equipment as required.
• Maintain high standard of personal safety in the workplace, advise safety & senior staff of hazards, potential hazards & incidents, reporting as required
• Attend training courses as requested by the company.
• Maintain a high standard of personal safety in the workplace observing all company QHSE requirements and obligations.
• Any other duties that may reasonably be requested by the company.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in an offshore or a Test & Qualification environment.
• Knowledge of electronic components or design.
• 2-3 years industry experience as an electronics or test engineer.
• Initiative and ability to work to a tight schedule.
• Experience setting up test equipment.
• Good report and procedure writing.
